Astrophotography & Landscape

Astrophotography, landscape and studies in light: the work nobody commissioned. Long exposures under dark skies, and the kind of frame that only appears after an hour standing in the same spot.

It is here because it is where the technique gets tested. Almost everything I use on a paid shoot — reading light, holding detail in the dark, deciding what to leave out — was learned on nights like these.
